Development Process


I started to map out what I wanted the game to look like. I decided to go with a widget system where all of the assets will be on the widget itself and that you can interact with the widgets. I put buttons on the screen but I replaced the look of the button with an image and placed a tree and a cauldron. When you hover over them, they give you a small tooltip on what they do. I added a timer system for the quota you have to reach, a shop menu on the right side, I also implemented counters for each of the objects collected from the tree so you can see what you retrieved to use for the shop. Overall, I had some issues along the way but I managed to limit the amount of bugs that I had to deal with.
